It all started when…

In 2023, I began Life Coaching which entails my advice, guidance, and a collaborative strategic plan based on values and beliefs that would steer you in the right direction towards achieving success and meet your goals.

How is this different from therapy? Therapy uses therapeutic modalities to deep dive to challenge cognitive beliefs, unpack behavioral patterns and thoughts based on one’s life experience. It takes into account family history, medical and mental health history, past trauma; as well as discovers how our life experience shapes us. It allows us to explore ourselves to understand why we are the way we are, how we got there, and how to let go of things that no longer serve us, while also directing us to where we are headed. It can be challenging and healing. Therapy requires an Initial Mental Health Assesment, as well as clinical diagnosis.

Life Coaching meets you where you are at today, focuses on the solution not the past, and gets you from point A to point B with a plan. My experience is based on nearly 20 years of working with a multitude of clients as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, with a Master’s of Science degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, the Brief Therapy Institute and a certification in Medical Family Systems.

Does Insurance cover this…

No. Life Coaching services are self-pay and an out of pocket expense. Life Coaching does not hold the same regulations or standards as Therapy and does not act as such, so insurance carriers don’t cover it as a medical or clinical treatment. Life Coaching can be provided to clients across the country as well as to International individuals. Payments are accepted through Venmo or PayPal at the time of the appointment.
